Seamline
Tim, founder of Seamline

Built by someone who's sat in the seat

I'm Tim, the founder of Seamline. My background is on the commercial side of B2B tech: business development, account management and customer success. That has meant spending a lot of time close to customers, and a lot of time jumping between the systems that are supposed to tell me what's going on with them.

That's where Seamline started. The information you need is usually there, but it's spread across CRM, billing, support, contracts and other systems that don't share the same context. So people end up piecing the story together by hand.

I'm not a career data engineer, and that's part of the reason I'm building this. I've seen the problem from the commercial side, and I've become increasingly interested in what it takes to fix the underlying data and systems properly.

How I work

I start with one business question, fix the data at the source, and build in your own tools, documented so your team can maintain it. AI and automation come after that, where they actually make sense.

I keep the number of clients small, so the person you talk to is the person doing the work.

About the use cases

The use cases on this site show the method on fictional data, with SQL tested on PostgreSQL, so you can judge the approach before we talk.

Practical

Based in Arnhem, the Netherlands. I work in English, Dutch and Portuguese.
